Crazy Crafters June Blog Hop with Guest Stamper France Martin

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters June Blog Hop with our special guest stamper France Martin.
This month we are excited to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by France. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

Above: This is the balloon tunnel card of France's that I decided to CASE.
Below: Here is my interpretation...

Click here to watch a video tutorial by France on how to create a tunnel card with floating balloons.  My measurements were slightly different and metric of course! I used an A4 sheet of whisper white card stock, cut exactly in half (21cm x 14.9cm).  Holding one card in landscape orientation I scored at 5.25cm, 10.25cm and 15.75cm (or flip and score at 5.25cm again).  And be sure to use a piece of copy paper underneath your die cut so you have a template to stamp the background!

Crazy Crafters February Blog Hop - Guest: Patty Bennett

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with our Special Guest stamper Patty Bennett.
This month we are excited to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by Patty. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Sara Evans), or may have come from the person previous to me.   Be sure to click on the person listed under me further down the page to continue your journey on this blog hop. We are thrilled that Patty said yes to playing along with the Crazy Crafters this month!

Above: This is the card of Patty's that I decided to CASE.

Here is the finished product! I used a top folding blushing bride card layered with the love blossoms DSP and the darling doily in pink glimmer paper.  Over the top I added my whisper white circle with the 'just for you' sentiment from the botanicals for you stamp set.  To create the floral embellishments I used the small flower dies from the blooming heart dies to cut out the flower artwork from the love blossoms DSP and an enamel dot for the flower centre.

Today I'm sharing with you a project using the bloomin' love bundle and the love blossoms designer series paper.  This is another versatile set that can be used for so many occasions.  It comes with the following sentiments - 'it's in the air', 'Be Mine', 'Friend' (pictured), 'Love You', 'xoxo' and 'My Valentine'...

The 'blooming heart' thinlit is very intricate, but getting those little pieces of paper out of the die is a sinch with the new Big Shot Die Brush! Check out the video to see just how easy it can be...

Crazy Crafters and Pootlers Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters and Pootles Blog Hop for December.  This month we are excited to show you some fabulous projects using products from the new Occasions Catalogue - Handmade from the Heart and Sale-A-Brations.

This month we are delighted to have the famous Pootles - Sam Hammond Donald and her lovely team playing along with us! All the way from the UK. Sam is VERY talented and has a following all around the world. Thanks to Sam and her team!

I decided to create this simple card using the Party with Cake Stamp Set and Party Pop Up Thinlits, which are amazing - you're going to love them!

Our theme for this hop was "one", one stamp set, one die, one ink, one embellishment etc - what a challenge! It does highlight how easy it is to make beautiful cards from a small amount of product.  I opted for black cardstock, with the sentiment stamped in versa mark and embossed in white.  The two slices of cake are embossed on black card, fussy cut and stuck on with dimensionals.

Now for the inside (my favourite part of the card).   I used the Party Pop Up Thinlit to create the Happy Birthday on 5"x 5" very vanilla cardstock (I found this size works best for the pop up).  As with the cover I used black cardstock and white embossing for the sentiment.

To add a bit of 'sparkle' I did use the clear wink of stella glitter brush over the words  'Happy Birthday' and on the candle flames - shhhh!
