Challenge #68 - Chevron

I'm excited to submit my first ever entry in an Addicted to CAS challenge! I'm loving my new work of art stamp set and butterfly punch.  I've made two chevron inspired cards in the lost lagoon colour scheme. I hope you like them as much as I do!

My first card is top folding on whisper white and lost lagoon card stock, I layered two butterflies and brushed them with crystal effects to give a 3D look.  I used the greetings thinlits to add the 'thanks', on both the front and inside.

My second card is also top folding on whisper white and lost lagoon card stock.  This time I have used the work of art stamp set to add the salutation and pearls to add a point of interest to the butterflies.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop July 2015

As a brand new Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator I'm excited to submit first entry into the monthly blog hop! As you can see my favourite colour combo centres around purple hues and my all time favourite blackberry bliss.

In this design my colour palette includes, blackberry bliss, perfect plum, chocolate chip and crumb cake.

On a blackberry bliss card and a whisper white overlay, I used the work of art stamp set and the butterfly thinlit to create some dimension.

Tips and Techniques:

To create some colour variance stamp off some colour before stamping your card to get a washed out look.
