Crazy Crafters October 2015 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog for October. This month we are excited to show off some fancy folds and products available in the annual and holiday catalogues. We hope you find great inspiration from the projects...

This month I created a four fold card inspired by Shari van Lankveld.  This card is pretty simple to make.  Its just four identical card fronts, layered with DSP and scored through the middle.  Using a framelit, cut out a shape from each card (I used oval framelits).  To get them all to line up I cut the first card then traced the oval shape onto the three other cards.  It was then easy to line up my framelit over the traced image. Before gluing each card back to back attach a piece of twine to the inside with sticky tape to secure your feature shape (I used a butterfly).

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Sara Evans, or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full line-up below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Holiday Catalogue Card Swap

The Holiday Catalogue Card Swap is an event for the Crazy Crafters team. What is a card swap I hear you say?  Each participant makes one card front for each person using the new Holiday Catalogue items. And return you receive a swap from each of the other participants...

This is the swap I made (above) and here's my pile of cards ready to be posted to our trusty event organiser Diane Coombs (below).

If you live in Australia and would like to purchase any of the products I used to make this card, simply click on the photos below to add them to your shopping cart in my online store.
