Hooray Engagement Card - Watercolor Words

Two of my dearest friends recently got engaged and here is the card I made for them... I just love the watercolour words stamp set.  The texture of the images is really beautiful.

To get the two tone heart, I stamped the first dark red heart and then the second heart without re-inking. I really like this nice, clean and simple design.

Crazy Crafters November 2015 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog for November. This month we are excited to show off "Most used stamp sets".  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects...

My favourite and most used stamp set is work of art (wood mount).  I use this set time and time again because it is so versatile. You can create a card for almost any occasion and for both genders.

To create this particular card (inspired by the ideas catalogue) I embossed the 'you' first, then added some colour using lost lagoon and mint macaron ink.  I stamped off some of the stamps to create some variation in colour.

Once I finished stamping I used a baby wipe to clean any ink from the embossing and also to create a watercolour effect.

I then used a watercolour pen to add a few drops of water to create a 'splash'  and some crystal effects to add 'dew drops' and adhere the stars and thread.

You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog - Sara Evans or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.
